5. Boston, MA - 20071011

This day was our 10th anniversary. We had booked the Freedom Trail excursion. The ship was late in letting people off. When we finally disembarked and arrived at the buses, we were told that our bus had already left. What a great way to start our anniversary. Some of the other passengers and me started complaining very loudly. We got our tour. The tour guide was terrible. We wanted to do the Freedom Trail for the historical aspect. All the guide wanted to talk about was the big dig and how much certain houses had sold for. The weather was extremely overcast which made for poor picture taking. I didn't know yet how important correct white balance is when shooting digital. Tammy was tuckered out from all the walking. After the walking tour we went to Quincy square and ate some clam chowder and boston creme pie at Cheers. We did some shopping at Quincy Square and headed back the ship before the rain started. We had a wonderful dinner in one of the ships specialty restaurants.
