Wreck at Rocky Bottom - June 26,2011

I witnessed a wreck while out taking motorcycle pictures. The Lexus missed the turn and was headed toward me. The only thing I could do was run in a direction that the SUV wasn't. The vehicle hit a tree and slid about 20 yards down an embankment sideways. Surprisingly it did not flip. The final path of the vehicle went directly through 2 of my favorite spots to take pictures. Fortunately I was at my truck about 70 feet away when the SUV missed the turn. The driver walked away but was taken to the hospital to be checked out. He was wearing his seat belt and and the airbags deployed. I did not get pictures of the wreck as it was happening because I was more concerned out of the way.
