My name is Patrick G. Welch. Thank you for taking the time to explore my website. Although I have been taking pictures since the early 1980's, I did not try to market myself until 2008. I learned photography in the days of film on a Sears KSX Super camera. Digital has been around long enough that many people have never shot on film or even know any camera settings other than fully automatic. Having learned photography in the ice age with automatic nothing I am somewhat familiar with using my digital equipment to it's fullest extent. Over the last several decades I have tried almost every type of photography. I have learned that any type of photography involving posing and a lot of personal contact is way outside of my comfort zone. I learned much later that this is primarily due to being blessed with Aspergers Syndrome, a form of autism. I love most other types of photography. My forte is transportation. That is to say any man made object that moves people. I also have very strong outdoor photography skills. Over the last few years I have been exploring the world of fine art and have had a number of pictures on display at the Pickens County Museum as both a competition contestant and by invitation. I have also had works displayed at various art centers. I am confident that I have the necessary skills to fulfill your photographic needs.
