For a day in the middle of January in the mountains of North Carolina, the weather could be considered nice. Light jackets or sweatshirts were enough to keep the crowd warm. However the day was overcast and there was a threat of rain. This event only the second ever Cars & Coffee of Hendersonville and it is already too big for the parking lot. This event will grow rapidly when spring arrives. There was a nice selection of cars. I saw a turbo 3 rotor RX-7 and an LS swapped Nissan 240sx. There was a Geo Metro that had been narrowed from the cowl back. These are not what I would choose as projects but I still appreciate the time and money that goes into creating the unique rides. Of course there were quite a few Mustangs present, a few Corvettes, a couple of Challengers, and an olive green mid seventies Country Squire.
